Beautiful cranberry glass pitcher with an Art Nouveau silver overlay design [probably Alvin] of grapes and leaves. It is marked “Sterling Silver” that I can read; the numbers and makers mark are quite worn from polishing. The pitcher stands almost 12 inches in height to the top of the lip. The base has a diameter of about 4 inches. There is a monogram on the front: H. There is a many bad cracks that goes from the top nearly to the bottom; but due to the red glass color and the silver, its hard to tell from 5 feet away. There are no chips in the glass otherwise and there is no silver loss. There is a star pattern on the bottom.
