Antique Wooden Page Turner – Conway Castle and Bridge
This is an antique wooden page turner with an image of the Conway Castle and Bridge in Wales. First popularized in the 19th century, page turners are used to maneuver the pages of books, particularly when dealing with rare or delicate ones, in order to not expose the pages to the oil of fingertips. They can also be used when reading a newspaper in order to not smear ink on one’s hands. This page turner measures approximately 10.5 inches in length and approximately 1.25 inches wide at the widest point.
