signed Bonnefond Pewter Card Receiver with Art Nouveau Nude
This late 1800’s card receiver was made of pewter and depicts a lovely young woman falling asleep, nude, in a field of opium poppies. Designed and signed by Claude Bonnefond, a famous designer in the French Art Nouveau movement, the piece is lovely and organic with flowing edges and style. Marked ‘Depose BJM Paris’ on the underside. It measures approximately 7 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide or tall, and would be a lovely addition to any Art Nouveau collection.
